So, what does Life and Crisis Coaching look like at In His Grip Ministries?

Very simply we work with people who need a hand journeying through this life. Serving people and families in desperate places.

We come alongside individuals and families to help them "repair" the damage they have sustained from the crisis in their life and also to help them "prepare" to continue on with their lives in a healthy way.

We get them through these difficult situations and then point them to healthy counselors, churches and other God loving people to help them maintain a Christ centered healthy life.

Sherry was married to Jeff for 19 years, sharing 24 years of life together, until he went to be with Jesus on December 31, 2013. Jeff was the love of her life and played a foundational role in leading her to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior—the One for whom she now lives her life.

While Jeff was battling cancer, he asked several close friends to support and encourage Sherry to continue the ministry they had begun together once he was called home to heaven. By the grace of God and through the faithful support of friends, Sherry carried on the ministry with prayer, faith, and determination.

She is blessed with a beautiful stepdaughter, Kristen, who is married to Matt. They live in Texas with their four joyful and energetic children—Kate, Abby, Will, and Ella—who bring her immense joy and whom she deeply adores. Sherry also has a son, Noah, who is a wonderful blend of both her and his father. She is deeply grateful for the love and support of her family and a close circle of friends who continue to walk alongside her.

Her prayer is that the experiences God has carried her through, and the lessons He continues to teach her, will be used to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As a nonprofit ministry, we come alongside people in crisis to guide, love, care, and serve them during difficult seasons and help them move forward with strength and hope.

Our mission is to support people through crisis life coaching, mentoring, and teaching, helping them heal from past hurts and prepare for a healthier, Christ-centered future. We believe that no one should walk through hardship alone, and we are committed to pointing every person we serve toward community, healthy counsel, and God-centered relationships.
